Common questions
Can I switch plans later?
Upgrades take effect immediately and prorate — you're charged for the new plan today and the unused portion of your old plan is credited on the same invoice. Downgrades aren't supported in-app: cancel your current plan from the Billing Portal (you keep access until renewal), then subscribe at the lower tier after that.
What happens if I cancel?
Your plan stays active through your current billing period. After that date your account drops to the Free plan. No prorated refunds; you keep what you've paid for.
How do you handle my data?
We don't sell it, don't share it with energy suppliers, and don't show third-party ads. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
Where does the rate data come from?
Ohio's Public Utilities Commission publishes a daily Apples-to-Apples comparison of every licensed supplier's current offers, plus per-utility historical Price-to-Compare charts. We refresh those overnight, normalize them, and surface them back. Full sourcing on our Data Sources page, and you can browse the live data without signing up.
I have a second home or rental. Which plan covers it?
Each Standard account covers one service address, so the simplest option today is a separate account (with its own email) per address at $36/yr each.
